What is the Festival Drip Ticket Giveaway?

Each year, we here at Festival Drip like to give back to all of our loyal customers who supported us from the very beginning. It's only through the continued support of the rave community that Festival Drip was able to grow from selling bootleg T-shirts in festival parking lots into the successful thriving small business and driving force in festival fashion that it is today. 

These early customers took a chance on us when they didn't have to. That's why every season we run the Festival Drip Ticket Giveaway to show our appreciation for this awesome rave community that truly embodies PLUR.

Every three months or so, Festival Drip will host a new giveaway on the Giveaway section of our blog. Previous giveaway info can still be viewed in the archives if you want to look up the previous prizes and winners.

Important Festival Drip Ticket Giveaway Changes in 2025

In 2025, we're switching up how we do things a little bit. Now, anyone can vote on the festival they want to see in the following Festival Drip Ticket Giveaway by voting in a poll. The poll will consist of all major music festivals happening during that season.

Because we typically run 4 music festival ticket giveaways annually, we took over 100 annually re-occurring raves, camping festivals, and day-parties all across the country and divided them into 4 groups based on the season which they occur. 

The New Festival Drip Ticket Giveaway Schedule

We are excited to announce that starting January 2025 our quarterly Festival Drip Ticket Giveaways will follow the follow schedule: 

Music festivals that occur in January, February, or March are in the Q1 ticket giveaway poll  |  Voting on Q1 festivals ends December 31 of the previous year.

Music festivals that occur in April, May, or June will appear in the Q2 ticket giveaway poll  |  Voting on Q2 festivals ends March 3.

Music festivals that occur in July, August, or September will appear in the Q3 ticket giveaway poll  |  Voting on Q3 festivals ends June 30.

Music festivals that occur in October, November, or December will appear in the Q4 ticket giveaway poll  |  Voting on Q4 festivals ends September 30.

Which quarter individual music festivals fall under are based on the first official start date the festival opens (early access days are not counted). 

The music festival with the highest number of poll votes will become the Festival Ticket Grand Prize for the following quarter. With the addition of the music festival poll, we put the power back in the hands of our customers, allowing anyone to easily obtain a pair of free music festival tickets. 

Other Giveaway Prizes

While the Festival Tickets Grand Prize will change every quarter based on poll votes, the 2nd and 3rd prizes will always be a different rotating collection of new & bestselling clothing and accessories based on each season. 

Our newest addition to the Festival Drip Giveaways will include 5 x Runners Up who will each receive $20 Festival Drip store credit gift card!

Festival Drip Ticket Giveaway Rules & Regulations

GIVEAWAY PARTICIPATION

No purchase is necessary to win any of the prize tiers offered in the Festival Drip Giveaway. Must be 18 or older to enter. Content open to legal residents on United States. There are specific requirements that must be fulfilled before completing individual tasks and actions that will increase each contestants odds of winning. The required actions and how completing them will affect your odds is clearly marked and legible on the Giveaway page.

VOTING ON FESTIVALS FOR THE TICKET GIVEAWAY

*Only qualifying festivals will be included in each giveaway poll. To be eligible for the ticket giveaway, the festivals must all have a start date that falls within the designated 3-minth quarter time frame. Qualifying festivals must have a combined gross ticket price (the combined cost of 2 tickets) that is equal to or less than $1,000 after taxes. Events with a combined gross ticket price of over $1,000 are not eligible for giveaway. Projected gross ticket prices for festivals that do not have tickets listed for sale yet will be based on combined gross ticket price for the previous year. Festivals with no historic ticket sales data that were included in the festival drip giveaway poll but not yet announced for sale, only to find out later after tickets go on sale that the combined gross ticket price exceeds $1,000 shall be immediately removed from the poll and disqualified from the ticket Giveaway.

PRIZE EXCLUSIONS

Grand Prize winners of the Festival Drip Ticket Giveaway will receive 2 gate tickets to the designated festival. This does not include the cost of parking, camping, shuttles, or any other additional ticket types or subsequent fees other than entry for 2.

Grand Prize Winners are further ineligible for entry into subsequent festival ticket giveaways for the duration of that calendar year. Each Grand Prize Winners may win only once. Grand Prize Winner eligibility resets at the beginning of a new calendar year, at which point they may enter the following years ticket giveaway and are eligible to win another Grand Prize with the same odds as other entries.

For example, if a contestant wins the 3rd Quarter Ticket Giveaway and wins 2 tickets to Lost Lands, then the same person's name is drawn for the following 4th Quarter Ticket Giveaway for 2 Tickets to Countdown NYE, their names will be discarded and a new winner selected for the Festival Tickets Grand Prize. However, if the contestant is drawn for the first time in that calendar year to receive the 4th Quarter Festival Ticket Grand Prize of 2 tickets to Countdown NYE, they will become eligible again for the following year's festival giveaway and if selected will receive the 1st Quarter Festival Ticket Grand Prize, and so on, and so forth.

HOW WINNERS ARE CHOSEN

Winners are chosen randomly by automated giveaway software designed specifically for choosing a winner at random with no bias or statistic anomaly.

Each potential contestant may increase their odds of being selected by competing specific tasks online on the giveaway page. (For example, follow us on Instagram, leave a comment on a blog post, leave a product review, etc).

After successfully completing a specific required task, the contestant will be notified that their odds of winning the Grand Prize have increased.

DISQUALIFICICATION

 Contestants may not knowingly or unknowingly tamper with the Giveaway software in any way, shape, or form. This includes attempting to complete the same task which was already been completed more than once unless it specifically says otherwise in the task's instructions. Tasks with a single-completion mechanism do not allow for contestants to increase their odds more than once after completing the designated action. Contestants believed to be repeatedly completing a single-completion task will be disqualified. Please note that any attempted manipulation

CONTEST TIMELINE

Giveaways run on a 90-day countdown timer, less the amount of time required to set each giveaway up.

Shortly after one quarter's giveaway ends, we begin putting together the prizes for the following quarter giveaway. The countdown timer for each giveaway begins immediately, as soon as all preparations are complete to avoid any mid-giveaway interruptions.

GETTING A JUMP START

While you will always know that the last day of each giveaway ends every 3 months, those important first few days as soon as the next giveaway goes live are essential to completing those daily actions to be completed once per day and will increase your overall odds of winning.  

This is why it is essential for those who want to win free tickets to the next big upcoming music festival to follow Festival Drip on all social media accounts, subscribe to our SMS messaging and email newsletters, which you can do right now by scrolling to the bottom of this page and entering in your email.

Each quarter, we will announce the newest giveaway through different mediums, be it socials, emails, or SMS text message, so keep an eye out when it's that time of the year again.

HOW PRIZES ARE DISTRIBUTED

Grand Prize: Festival tickets are purchased under two Festival Drip placeholder names. As soon as the grand prize winner is confirmed, we will immediately initiate the process of transferring the digital tickets to the name of the winner and their +1. This is why its important to know who your +1 is and supply us with their names as early as possible to prevent any delays. Depending on the event, you will either receive a digital receipt for your ticket via email or we will make sur your tickets are waiting or you at will call when you arrive at the festival. We will confirm  successful ticket recipient exchange prior to the start of the event. If the completion of the ticket exchange has not yet been confirmed, do not leave for the festival until the ticket transfer is complete.  We only do one ticket transfer name change! Make sure you can make it to the festival on time. 

2nd & 3rd Prizes: We will contact the prize winners to the best of our ability to present different clothing and accessory size and style options available and shipping address information before processing their personalized, complimentary orders. All prizes will be shipped using standard shipping.

Runner Ups: The runner ups will be emailed their gift card store credit. Store credit does not expire, has no limitations, and spends just like cash.  

WHAT TO DO IF YOU CAN'T GO

If for whatever reason the Grand Prize winner cannot use the festival tickets and notifies us before the ticket transfer goes into effect, you will have the option of selecting a different prize in place of receiving the festival tickets. 

If you decide you cannot make it to the festival after the ticket transfer is completed then it is the ticket recipient's responsibility to find a good home for their complimentary festival tickets. 

WHAT HAPPENS IF WE CANNOT CONTACT THE WINNERS

Winners are given a 72 hour grace period following the end of the giveaway and the announcement of each winner. We will make every attempt to contact the winners using the contact information provided to us, including email, mobile, and socials. If after 72 hours we do not receive a response from the winners, that person automatically forfeits all claims to their prizes and a new winner will be drawn at random from the remaining contestants. Then the process starts over until a winner is found.

MAINTAINING A FAIR & EQUAL COMPETITION

Contestants who attempt to increase their odds through manipulation, attempted manipulation, exploitation, attempted exploitation, or any other means with the intention of creating an unfair advantage will be immediately permanently disqualified from the current and all future Festival Drip Giveaways, including all Prize tiers. Personal information used to identify and/or contact disqualified contestants will be stored in our server in perpetuity and checked against all future giveaways so as to prevent disqualified contestants from ever entering or winning any Festival Drip Giveaways for all time. A contestants disqualified status is irrevocable and permanent. This is to ensure that all contestants have a fair and equal opportunity at winning each Festival Drip Giveaway.
